a blast from the past

Stan knew he was smiling too much. Had it really happened? He and Lux. Together. He could hardly believe it. But it had happened. The sex.

It didn't really feel like one of those flings or hook-ups after a concert. As much as he might have thought about sex,  it was always quite different when it actually happened. It was love. A love to be there for them, after-wards. And it was that kind of thing that swallowed him now. She was his princess, and he'd go to the ends of the earth if he had. Well, maybe in his head. But still, he would be there for Lux.

So he was up early and going to make her pancakes. He couldn't wipe that silly grin off his face. He sighed with happiness as he went to start breakfast just in his boxers. Stan started the coffee, then got the batter ready. If only he knew how to make heart shaped pancakes..he would.

Next, Stan heated up some butter in the skillet. He was on his way to a fantastic breakfast. He even found the strawberries and chocolate syrup. Was there COOL WHIP too? Yes, there was. More smiles emerged.

Just as he was about to start the pancakes, a knock came to the door. Well, he wanted to ignore it, but it kept persisting.

So, he went to see what was up. To his surprise, it was Tony. He shut the door tight. It was like seeing a ghost from the past. Stan gritted at the thought of this pest pissing on his life once more.

"Stan, don't shut me out!" Tony responded. "Please. I need to talk to you."

Stan rolled his eyes at that. He went back to his pancakes for Lux.

Tony kept shouting.

Finally Lux stumbled into the kitchen with her robe tied tight. "What is going on?" She hugged herself.

"Its nothing." He told her. "Whatever, you do, don't open that door."

"Who is it?" She winced.

"Someone, I'd rather not talk about." He served her a couple of pancakes then.

"I just don't know if I can enjoy breakfast with all that noise going on." She looked at the pancakes.

"I'm going to regret this, I know you will too." He was serious. But Tony went on, shouting in the hallway that he needed to talk to Stan.

  3. I'm glad to see that sex is more than a materialistic sort of need (:
