a little known fact

"So, we should be happy." Stan shrugged. Everybody had jobs now. He met Sam down at their favorite place to skate board. Except, neither had their skateboard. Still Stan brought lunch from THE CUPCAKE. Sam picked up their favorite Arizona teas from where he worked at the bookstore.

"Boring, more like it." Sam half laughed as they found themselves a bench at the park.

"No, we're not." Stan bit into a turkey sandwich. It was hard to believe Lux made this with her own hands. He hated to doubt her, but she was learning good at THE CUPCAKE. "We, Lux and me are suppose to see her 'rents. Got any inside info for me?"

"Naw, my dad's pretty laid back. He won't hurt you." Sam shook his head with a grin as he grabbed a veggie chip from the bag.

"See. I still don't get it. You and Lux with the same Dad." Stan sighed.

"She takes after her mother." Sam looked at Stan then. "Or maybe I take after my Mom. Its not like I've spent that much time with my Dad."

Stan just nodded. He really didn't want to think about parents at the moment.

"So how are things with you and Tony?" Sam finally brought up.

"Hey, I was enjoying the perfect day." Sunshine at its best. Mild warm temps. "Why did you bring him up?" Stan winced as he chew more of the amazing turkey sandwich with pickle and tomato. He just needed to savor lunch.

"He came over." Sam winced at the sun.

"Really?" Suddenly, Stan had a bad taste in his mouth.

"I think he wanted to talk to Michelle." Sam told him as he sipped his tea.

"You think he wants her back?" Stan figured as much.

"I don't think so." Sam sighed. "I guess he's just ..lost, you know."

Stan looked at him out of the corner of his eye. Finally he glared at Sam. "Don't you go thinking about being his friend."

"I'm not." Sam said he was worried about Tony.
